My Story
6 years ago my twin brother David got the all clear after being diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma after going to the doctors with a pain in his neck. His treatment was in the Teenage Cancer Trust Ward at the Freeman Hospital. The staff and the ward itself were brilliant. They made such an awful time easier for us all. The ward itself didn't feel like a "medical ward" we were in a "snug" room which was fitted with TV's, game consoles, pool tables. TCT run events for patients. The support from the staff and TCT team was brilliant
As a small thank you I've pledged to run The Great North Run this year
