My Story

Hi and thank you for visiting my page! 🦋

This September, I'm going to be running the Great North Run, a half-marathon set in Newcastle upon Tyne and my first official half-marathon. I've decided to fundraise for Butterfly conservation, a charity dedicated to protecting our butterflies and moths, and their wider environment. Moths and butterflies have been a huge part of my life, bringing me lots of joy, many friends and incredible conversations with many about their importance, and my passion for monitoring them has led me to spend some quality time in nature- something I hope everyone can get the chance to do. Therefore, I hope to combine my love for running with my love for moths and I hope to raise funds for BC to help support projects which can engage people with our wonderful moths and butterflies and help to protect them.
