My Story

About the why

In December 2023 our daughter Grace was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at the age of 17.  As a family we knew very little about this awful lifelong condition which affects Grace's life on a daily basis. Just before Christmas this year Grace developed enteropathic arthritis in her knee which is another symptom of UC.
In September Jamie and I along with 60,000 determined and dedicated runners are taking on the AJ Bell Great North Run the World’s biggest half marathon, we will also be completing the Chester Half marathon in May
We are raising money for Crohn's and Colitis UK a charity which supports those living with UC and is constantly looking for new ways to get UC under control. If you feel you could donate this would be amazing! Diolch
