My Story
Newcastle United Foundation uses the power of football to connect, motivate and inspire people in our region. Through community, education, health and wellbeing, and sports programmes delivered across Newcastle, Northumberland, North Tyneside, Gateshead and County Durham, we strive to improve physical and mental health, boost learning and career prospects and provide life-changing opportunities for everyone no matter their goals in life.
Participating in their Kicks football sessions helped me to get places on coaching and refereeing football courses. The qualifications that I have been able to get as a result have eventually led to me helping out as a coach at Forest Hall Juniors (particuarly the Comets sessions on Thursdays for children with disabilities) and refereeing junior football games in the local area. I have also enjoyed their disability football sessions in previous years. These football sessions have not only given me things to look forward to but also helped me to make new friends and improve my footballing and teamwork skills.
With this in mind, I would like to give back to them by helping to raise funds for them and any donations would be much appreciated.
