My Story

In January, my mum - my beautiful, incredible, selfless, caring, best friend -  was diagnosed with cancer.

I am unable to do anything; I can’t take it away, I can’t make it better. So, instead, I’m doing the only thing I know how to and supporting the places that are supporting her.

I’m taking on the Great North Run (half marathon) and Race for Life (10K) this year. I’ll also be chopping my hair off in solidarity with my mum, who will be losing her beautiful locks due to chemo, and we’ll be sending our hair to The Little Princess Trust.
