My Story

I have always wanted to do the Great North Run and 2026 is the year I’ve finally pushed myself to sign up. I have never run anywhere near this distance so this will be a huge challenge for me but I am so motivated to do it knowing that I am raising money for HDFT and its serving communities.

I am raising money for HDFT’s Acute Medical Unit, an area I have worked on for the past 13 years. The dedicated staff work tirelessly on this ward so hopefully any money I raise can be put to good use supporting the staff and patients that use the unit. This one’s for you!!
