Hi and Thank You for visiting my page!

I have signed up to take part in Great North Run 2026. By taking part in this challenge I'll be raising funds to support the Royal British Legion.

The reason I am running the Great North Run for Royal British Legion is that back in 2009 I was homeless and living in a tent on the back of a golf course after my grandma passed away.

Without the Royal British Legion I don't know where I would be they stepped in and managed to help me get a job which lead to  graduating  with Honors as a Nurse.  

It was  the Royal British Legion that got me back into healthcare with a step back into health program they introduced me to the hospital where first became a Healthcare Assistant then became a Senior Healthcare Assistant and then achieving my dream of becoming a fully qualified Nurse.

I'm also proud to be an Official Ambassador for the Royal British Legion and I've done a multitude of public speaking engagements around the UK to help raise the awareness of the fantastic and amazing work that the Royal British Legion take part in. 

I was truly humbled that in 2025 I got the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to go to the Festival of Remembrance  at the Royal Albert  Hall in London, with my parents  present.  As well as being able to meet up the following day at the Cenotaph with fellow Veterans and new friends.

To this day the Royal British Legion continue to help me and support me!

Furthermore, they have invited me to apply for the Invictus games in Birmingham in 2027 to which I was more than happy to do so.

I am truly honed and humbled and proud to represent such a fantastic amazing charity who helped me out of despair it is a great honor to be able to go and run the Great North run as it's such an iconic event! 

Last year I was part of the London Marathon gaining an Official World Record and being part of the team that raised more funds than any other to that year!

This year I am now going to be doing two official events the Manchester Marathon and now the great North run two of the largest marathons in the UK and possibly even Europe. Leading onto project 2027 and participating in the World Race 7 Marathons, across 7 Continents in 7 Days!
