My Story

I’ve set myself a huge challenge this year, pushing my boundaries across some incredible events including the Great North Run Events, Forth Road Bridge Challenge and Run the Raid on Holy Island. But the physical challenge is nothing compared to what local cancer patients face.

Our nearest hospitals are 60 miles away, making access to life-saving treatment a massive hurdle. Berwick Cancer Cars, a charity close to my heart, do an extraordinary job of removing that burden, providing a lifeline when people need it most.

I am proud to support them, and I’ll be carrying the memory of a wonderful friend, Maureen Aitchison, who we lost recently, the entire way.
