My Story

I am thrilled to be participating in the 45th Great North Run, on Sunday 13 September, to raise funds for the Great Start in Life Foundation, which is part of HHCC. This will be my first major event since having children and taking on a challenge of this scale will feel like a huge achievement. All funds raised will support children, young people and their families across the North and Yorkshire.

As the footprint of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust has expanded across the North of England and Yorkshire, the Great Start in Life Foundation will raise funds to enhance the Health Visitor and School Nursing 0-19 service that these children, young people and their families access, to ensure that our communities have a Great Start in Life.

By supporting my fundraising, you will help HHCC make a difference in County Durham, Cumberland, Darlington, Gateshead, Middlesbrough, Northumberland, North Yorkshire, South Tyneside, Stockton-on-Tees, Sunderland, Wakefield and Westmoreland-and-Furness.
